Final Days of the RNC/Mercury Bday
Good people,
I had no time to blog. There was so much chaos and excitement at the RNC in St. Pau; this past week. I was at various marches and prepping nights, making food for people that had been arrested, and making food for our show.
The increased presence of the police was very shocking, but what as comforting was cooking for the people at the Wedge.
I made a GLBT Torta for people to keep people aware about the issues of the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgendered community, and in salute to Queen pop singer, Freddy Mercury who was born on this day 62 years ago. If you want the recipe, email me at merococinero@gmail.com.
Also, the recipes for this latest show in Minneapolis will be up on Sunday, September 7th. We still have 3 more to go.
More recipes coming soon for this electoral season.
In solidarity,
Mero Cocinero
